Hyundai
For three campaigns, Hyundai collaborated with BuzzFeed to produce custom videos showcasing how young individuals are leveraging their entrepreneurial skills to address global issues within their local communities. As the Creative Director, my responsibilities included conceiving the initial strategy to highlight Hyundai's positive impact on our world. In the post-sale phase, I wrote, produced, and directed four of them (while also adapting to the challenges of directing during a pandemic).
A bit more about the program...
In 2017, the Young Entrepreneurs docuseries chronicled inspiring organizations from across the U.S. as they drive significant change and endeavor to strengthen their communities.
Within a week of the series’ launch, the focus of the first video, 'Lunch on Me,' received over 700 emails from individuals eager to contribute, along with food donations from Uber and Whole Foods, and a chef from SpaceX volunteering for the organization. Other Young Entrepreneurs alumni, such as Town Kitchen, Philly Urban Creators, and Blue Latitudes, have experienced similar surges in followers and volunteers, and their individual impacts continue to grow day by day.
In this latest season, Young Entrepreneurs follows Imperfect Foods, SUAY, BlackFem, MOVE Inclusive Dance, and Genusee as they strive to reduce food waste, repurpose textiles, enhance financial literacy, create inclusive spaces for differently-abled individuals, and transform plastic bottles from the Flint Water Crisis into sustainable eyewear.
